MrBeast, YouTube’s most-subscribed creator, partnered again with engineer and fellow content creator Mark Rober for the TeamWater campaign. The initiative, supported by over 3,000 influencers, aims to raise $40 million throughout August to provide clean drinking water to millions worldwide.
During the livestream, which was co-hosted by Adin Ross and xQc, Rain joined the call and revealed she had been waiting for the right cause to contribute to. “I’ve been wanting to donate,” she told the group. “I’m just not sure how to, so I’m glad you called me because I want to donate $1 million.”
MrBeast reacted with surprise, asking, “You sure?!” Rain affirmed, saying, “I am 100% sure. This is an awesome cause. I appreciate everything you do and you’re just an amazing person, and I just want to support this because it’s awesome.”
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, thanked her, admitting the pledge was unexpected. His livestream on Kick had set a $12 million fundraising goal for TeamWater, and by Friday morning had surpassed $10 million in pledges. Across all contributors, TeamWater had reached $29.3 million as of August 15.
On X, Rain posted about her donation, writing, “call it dirty money, but i still donated $1m more than you did 🤷♀️ thank you for the opportunity #TeamWater.”
The creator recently shared a screenshot of her OnlyFans earnings, claiming she has made $80.1 million since joining the platform in July 2023. She has reportedly purchased a private jet, seven cars, and a $2.7 million farmhouse on 20 acres from her earnings.
Rain’s $1 million donation has placed her among the top 20 contributors on the TeamWater leaderboard. Other major donors include Citadel CEO Ken Griffin with $2.25 million, Kick.com with $2 million, Shopify CEO Tobias Lütke with $1.5 million, and $2 million in matching funds from YouTube and Google.
Through her representatives, Rain explained her motivation for the contribution: “Access to clean water is something many of us take for granted, but for millions of people, it’s a daily struggle. This donation is my way of using my platform for something that matters. I wanted to do something that would have a real and immediate impact.” She also noted, “Not everyone can give a million dollars — and that’s okay. Even a small contribution can help change someone’s life. If my donation motivates others to take action, then it’s worth every penny.”
Based in Miami, Rain has more than 500,000 subscribers on OnlyFans and over 20 million followers across social platforms. According to her representatives, she is an outspoken advocate for sex worker rights and the responsible evolution of digital spaces for women.
Rain has previously claimed she does not share nude photos on OnlyFans. However, her current bio on the site states, “I may be a virgin, but I’m not that innocent as you might think… FULLY NUDE CONTENT AVAILABLE!!!” The page is currently promoting, “#1 on ONLYFANS for a reason 😏 come see why and if you join RIGHT NOW dm me to see my first ever masturbation video 😅 (don’t tell my mom pls).” A subscription to her page is priced at $10 per month.
